Each engineering student is assigned an advisor by the major department. Although each department uses a different method of assigning advisors, the advisor is assigned to the student for the duration of his/her engineering matriculation. Each student is required to see the assigned advisor prior to registration (for an approved course schedule), to review midterm and final grades, and to discuss a recommended schedule for completing course requirements for the major.
